Say "Cheese!"
From black-and-white to live video, discover which photo booth is right for you.

Photo booths are back and it’s no wonder—benefits include instant bonding and memories that last a lifetime. Even better, brides can use the printouts both as wedding favors and part of a permanent photo album; some of the companies listed below will even provide a finished photo album at the end of the reception. Since options vary, it’s wise to research several companies to find the right fit for your big day.

High tech

Started in 2004 by Elaine Armentrout, the Arizona Photo Booth Company was the first to offer digital photo booths in the state. Her company’s Model 12 booths produce six shots per strip, in black and white, color, or a combination. Armentrout prefers digital to traditional chemical photo booths because, she says, the quality is better. “We use a thermal process printer that produces photos that won’t fade; they dry immediately and will last a lifetime.” The six-shot strip has room in the middle for personalized messages and prints out in 10 seconds, compared with older chemical booths that can take up to five minutes.
Armentrout prides herself on ensuring that all wedding guests have an opportunity to use the booth; 20 minutes before the end of the reception she makes an announcement to the crowd. At the end of the night Armentrout or a staff member put together the wedding album and deliver it to the bride and groom.
The Arizona Photo Booth Company’s standard rate is $1,300 for a four-hour rental and includes a wedding album, delivery, set-up and removal, and unlimited photos. The booths are wheelchair-accessible.
