Royal Palms Rolls Out "Romantication" Packages

One of the joys of romantic love is that nothing is generic—it’s all deeply personal. As a relationship grows, many couples develop a private “dialect” that expresses their life together. The Royal Palms Resort and Spa is formalizing its approach to providing individualized services to couples who stay at the property by wrapping them in a new package, a conceptual take on love-themed vacations known as “Romantication.”

According to Erin Stremcha, director of marketing and public relations, the property now has two staff members dedicated to helping couples orchestrate just the right loving touches for their stay at Royal Palms. “It’s the personalized details that matter so much to each guest,” Stremcha says. “Each of our Romantication offerings are customized to ensure the ‘wow’ factor, to make the occasion as perfect as possible.”

Many brides opt for items offered through the Stunningly Beautiful package, which includes a session with a boudoir photographer and a gift certificate to Anastasia’s lingerie boutique, as well as hairstyling, makeup application and a manicure-pedicure at Royal Palms’ Alvadora Spa.

Other popular Romantication options include a private dinner in one of the on-property “lover’s corners” and gardens, and the Passport to Romance program, in which the couple is led through their vacation adventure with a series of notes from the staff that invite them to activities such as hot-air balloon rides or a couples’ massage.

T. Cook’s, Royal Palms’ acclaimed restaurant, has been celebrating the Romantication idea through its 2011 Languages of Love series, a celebration of the cultures and cuisines of France, Italy, Spain and Greece. An overnight-stay package is available that offers a three-course tasting menu dinner and a joint visit to Alvadora Spa.
