Prescott Log Cabin Bed and Breakfast
Nestled in the imposing Granite Dells, the Prescott Log Cabin Bed and Breakfast lies close to hiking as well as historic downtown Prescott. Guests will find numerous inviting niches to explore and enjoy throughout the property; favorites include a covered deck, perfect for watching sunsets and enjoying the cool night air, and the outdoor hot tub.
The Cozy Fireside suite is ideal for a romantic stay. Complete with a dormer-window sitting area that offers striking views of the dells and the San Francisco Peaks, the suite is perfect for watching the sun rise. In the evening, a skylight over the queen-size bed lets you drift off to sleep as you watch for falling stars. Romantic touches include a fireplace that’s perfect for chilly nights and an authentic claw-foot tub large enough for bubble baths à deux.
With old-fashioned streetlights, park benches and the old courthouse, the downtown Prescott square is right out of a storybook. The picturesque park is filled with enormous trees, cool grass, craft fairs and enough people- and dog-watching to last hours. The streets are lined with restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, art galleries, antique stores, souvenir shops and darling boutiques; many of the old saloons from the Gold Rush era are still in use today along the legendary Whiskey Row. In winter, the square plays host to weekend festivals, Christmas parades, carolers, hot cocoa vendors and the annual lighting of the courthouse’s Christmas lights.
For adventurous guests, kayak rentals are available at nearby Watson Lake. Why not paddle the mirror-still waters as you take in the views of fantastic rock formations that surround you? With a Western small-town atmosphere and plenty of natural beauty, Prescott is sure to be a memorable getaway.
