“So, what are your wedding colors?” Depending on how long you’ve been engaged, this is probably a question you’ve heard quite a few times. But “What is your wedding scent?” is probably something you’ve never been asked—until now.

At Bath Junkie in Phoenix, it’s now possible to create a signature scent to carry throughout your wedding, from soaps in the restrooms to lotions for your bridesmaid gifts. “We’re like a soda fountain for bath stuff,” says owner Susan Pearson.

Customers start with an unscented base, and the rest is up to them. With more than 200 scents available, customization options are endless. If you love the scent of lavender but hate purple, plan a trip to Bath Junkie and get your dose of lavender-scented everything—in any color you like.

"For a bride who’s getting married in a desert location, we could do something like a ‘scent of the day’ and have her pick out what blend she wants to be associated with her wedding day,” says Pearson. “Once that’s selected, we can formulate any of our lotions, scrubs, shampoo, spritz, etc. with the special scent, and this can be used by the bridal party, and even as favors for the wedding guests.”

The store can also play host to events like bridal showers and bachelorette parties. “Guests can bring food and drink, make personalized products, and play a couple of games,” says Pearson. “We have an area we set up specially for parties.”
