Cupcakes on a Stick

Founded upon a desire to find the perfect hostess gift, The Lollicake Company in Phoenix offers bite-size chocolate-dipped cupcakes on a stick that provide the ideal and oh-so-important ratio of frosting to cupcake.

Owner Courtney L. Moran created Lollicake in response to the current cupcake craze, but instead of selling entire cupcakes, she creates individually wrapped mini-desserts in 10 flavors—think peanut butter chocolate, red velvet and triple vanilla—perfect for the bride who wants to incorporate something different into her reception.

“We can do so many fun things,” says Moran. “We’ve done flowerpots full of Lollicakes as centerpieces, one Lollicake per place setting as a favor, or, with the popularity of candy tables, we can create a whole buffet of Lollicakes.”

For brides who wants a traditional wedding cake to slice into but can’t decide on one flavor, the company can create a custom cake display of foam tiers with Lollicakes up for grabs on each level, and a single small cake on top for cutting.

“Brides love it because, while cakes are great, what you see is what you get,” said Moran. “With the 10 different flavors of Lollicakes, individually wrapped, everyone can find something they love.”
