Leslie & Stacy
Oct. 9, 2010 with a ceremony at San Francisco Peaks and reception at Foxboro Ranch Estates
When Stacy Stumpf claimed he had a rock stuck in his tire on a mountain-bike trek up the San Francisco Peaks, he wasn’t completely truthful; the rock—an engagement ring—was actually in his pocket, and when he bent down to change his “flat,” he presented it to his sweetheart, Leslie Gilmore, as he proposed. Surrounded by aspen trees and 100 guests, the couple wed in a clearing in the Peaks a little more than a year later. An eclectic reception followed (the bride calls it “a little rustic, a little bohemian, with a Mexican fiesta twist”) set to the sounds of Rose’s Pawn Shop, a bluegrass-rock band the couple imported from California. Guests left with a double CD of Leslie and Stacy’s favorite songs and filled out vintage postcards with advice for the newlyweds.
