Lauren & Blake

Oct. 23, 2009 at Villa Siena in Gilbert

Immediately after Blake Jardine proposed to his high school sweetheart Lauren Storto, he whisked his new fiancé to Mexican restaurant Dos Gringos for an engagement party, where the couple’s family and friends were waiting. Then they began planning their next celebration: a fall wedding. The couple wanted a meaningful ceremony and a straight-up party at the reception, both filled with personal touches. They got their wish: A pastor and family friend married the two in a non-denominational ceremony, a groom’s cake celebrated Blake’s commission as an officer in the Navy, donations to Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s pet therapy program in lieu of favors honored the bride’s favorite charity, and the dance floor buzzed all night long, complete with a conga line.
