Kerrie & Enrique
Forget playing coy: Kerrie Clabby and Enrique Leon have always cut to the chase. After meeting at a Scottsdale nightspot, they were instantly inseparable; nearly four years later, they discussed marriage over Easter brunch, and decided then and there they were engaged. (Romance won out, later, however, when Enrique presented Kerrie with a ring atop a Fountain Hills lookout point.) Their fall wedding was meticulously planned to blend the bride’s self-described girly tastes with the groom’s Mexican heritage. Following a traditional Catholic ceremony, a cantante serenaded the couple and 100 guests with Mexican music during a cocktail hour; pink flowers, feathers, and stationery by Kerrie’s mom adorned the romantic reception.
Ceremony: St. Patrick Catholic Community Church, Scottsdale | Wedding gown: Monique Lhuillier | Bridal shoes: Badgley Mischka | Bridesmaid gowns: Caché | Flowers: Wendell Design Group Florist | Cake: Camelback Inn Resort & Spa | Stationery: Bride’s mother
