Before reporter Carina Sonn landed at 3TV KTVK (AZ Family) and sports anchor Scott Smith took to the airwaves at CBS 5, the two worked opposite shifts at a Tulsa, Okla., television station. Carina made the first move by asking Scott out, but Scott took the lead when he proposed and hosted a surprise engagement party in Sausalito, Calif., two years later. An outdoor venue for their elegant ceremony and 100-guest reception was Carina’s top priority, and after visiting several spots, the Raven Golf Club’s lush grounds proved the perfect backdrop for the black-and-white affair. In a nod to their profession, Carina and Scott rented a video booth and turned the camera on their guests, who recorded congratulatory messages for the couple.
