For many newlyweds, the wedding day is a blur; luckily, Brookelyn Loeffler and Brett Urig’s elegant black-and-white affair produced a host of reminders that keep their memories fresh. The keepsakes began when the bride’s aunt created a custom monogram that appeared throughout the couples’ stationery and on their champagne flutes; the same image now appears on towels in the Urigs’ home. On the big day, Brett wore a pair of cufflinks she had given him on their dating anniversary: One depicted a map of Phoenix, their hometown, while the other portrayed a map of their new home of Charlottesville, Va. Finally, 225 guests took self-portraits in a photo booth and wrote postcards to the couple. Brookelyn’s mother has mailed the couple one postcard each day since their wedding.
