Bethy Kleiman was prepared for Seth Gevirtz’s proposal—she knew the day was coming, and even blindfolded, she recognized the route to her childhood home where her future groom popped the question—but she was less certain when it came to knowing what she wanted in a wedding. After scouring the Internet for inspiration and even searching through paint swatches at Home Depot, Bethy settled on a bright pink and yellow palette accented by what she calls “tasteful sparkle.” After Bethy said her I-dos in a dress she studded with crystals, 111 guests noshed on mini hot dogs, burgers, sushi, and grilled cheese—before dinner! Later, they snacked on cake, mini pies and frozen yogurt before indulging in a candy bar stocked with pink and yellow confections.
