After meeting through mutual friends at a Southern California beach party, Ana Delgado and Alex Savidge were friends for a year before they leapt into the dating pool together. His job as a TV reporter meant a mobile existence for the couple early in their relationship, but three years ago they settled in the Valley when Alex landed a job with KSAZ Fox 10. Even though Ana and Alex are native Californians, the scenery and lifestyle of Arizona gave them a sense of belonging and set the tone for their engagement at the Grand Canyon and a sunset wedding at the base of Camelback Mountain. While they read heartfelt letters to each other as part of the ceremony, the occasion also had some lighter moments—a trivia game at the rehearsal dinner and a photobooth at the reception that created an automatic guestbook and helped capture impromptu wedding memories.
