What is the capacity of your reception location?

The Phoenix Zoo features 17 unique venues for you to build the wedding of your dreams.  Choose one of our smaller venues for an intimate group under 50 guests or one of our larger venues for receptions with up to 500 guests.
What are your dinner prices for a sit-down and buffet?

Events at the Phoenix Zoo are professionally serviced by a list of preferred caterers who specialize in quality, customer service and on-site catering.   In order to make catering arrangements for your event, you will work directly with one of our preferred caterers.
What is the rental cost?

Rental pricing varies per venue selected.  All venue rentals include an on-site event facilitator throughout the entire event to ensure you enjoy your day.  Please visit http://www.phoenixzoo.org/groupevents or email groupevents@thephxzoo.com for venue and pricing information.  
Am I required to use your food, beverages, and serving attendants?

We ask you to select from our list of preferred caterers, all well-known throughout The Valley.  Bar services are to be arranged with Phoenix Zoo.  
What is your cake cutting fee?

Cake cutting is taken care of by the caterer you select, you will work with them directly for pricing.
What is your closing time?

Events concluding by 2:30 p.m. are considered daytime rentals; events ending after that time are subject to evening rental fees. There is an additional security charge per hour for events that last past 11:00 p.m.  
Is there adequate parking available?

Daytime rentals and events held during ZooLights’ Season share the parking lot with regular Zoo public.
Do you have a PA system?

Yes, PA Systems are available for an additional charge.
Do you have overnight accommodations?

The  Phoenix Zoo is conveniently located near several hotels that offer shuttle service for guests if arranged in advance.

Do you have space for doing a ceremony?

The Phoenix Zoo offers ceremony locations perfect for each imagined setting – there is no airfare necessary to create a destination wedding!  Exchange your vows during a sunset ceremony with lakeside tropical locales or in front of the picturesque Savanna Enclosure.  
Is there anything else you would like me to know?

Complete your event at the Phoenix Zoo with a furry (or feathered or scaly!) guest of honor. Experience an up-close encounter with animals during your event.
