How long have you been in the business?

Life Design Event Planning has been established for over 4 years but Owner & Senior Consultant, Cicely Rocha.Miller, along side her team have planned valley events for over 8 years total.
What is your philosophy on a wedding planners role in helping brides and grooms plan their wedding?

I like to think of the planners role is to be personable and truly tied with the bride and groom. The consultant should not only be able to be an amazing planner, designer and a detail guru but should be a friend and someone the bride and groom could see themselves completely trusting; wholeheartedly. I want to make sure that are that I, as a planner, am a wedding concierge and at my clients every need and will no doubt have their best interest in mind to give them their most ultimate wedding day.

Good things come in packages so we incorporated a few for our clients.

Spontaneous {final planning + execution of wedding day details}

This coordination package is designed for the couple who wishes to complete all of the planning on their own but desires the luxury of celebrating their wedding day with complete peace of mind. We can make that wish a reality by eliminating the stress and worry associated with the “day of” details. A Life Design Event Planning Lead Coordinator will begin working with you four (4) weeks before your wedding and remain committed to your special day until the final event of the evening occurs.

Inspiring (design services + vendor referrals + execution of wedding day details)
This coordination package includes the Spontaneous package but we have added value by including design services and vendor referrals. This package is for the couple that is looking for guidance on style, wedding trends, and ideas on incorporating their personalities in every detail of their wedding. It also includes a list of vendors that we feel is a match for your needs and would be a personality connection as well. We want the best for your day, should you?


Life is…

Fearless (full planning + design services + vendor referrals + execution of wedding day details)

This coordination package is designed for the couple who has the desire to completely enjoy every aspect of their event; beginning at the proposal and ending when you take off for your honeymoon. We are your personal wedding concierge and offer all of our experience and expertise. You will receive a personal planning binder with all our tips to seamlessly begin. With an limitless hours of personal consultation, budget management, complete visual design, timelines, checklists and more, we will work together to pull off the wedding of your dreams.

What is your most popular package?  Why?

Our Fearless package is definitely our most popular package. With the intense amount of time that goes into planning and the extravagant events that brides, grooms and their families are envisioning it takes a professional to seamlessly pull it together from start to finish.

How do you charge?  What are your rates?

We charge a flat fee for the service package chosen by the client and have two level of consultants to give options for levels of affordability; Junior Consultants and Senior Consultants. Service prices for the Junior Consultants start at $2,000 and for the Senior Consultants at $2,500.

Any additional chargers would depend on upgrading, adding services, separate locations and the intensity of the event structure.

All fees are thoroughly explain and agreed upon between the client and the planner so you feel completely comfortable and at ease with the pricing structure. No surprises.


Are you able to counsel couples on wedding etiquette?

Yes, we offer any type of wedding etiquette or event planning consultation services and can be obtained within our workshop opportunities or on a personal basis.

Do you offer any other special services?

We specialize in weddings but also offer services for proposal planning, engagement parties, bridal showers, and bachelor and bachelorette parties. We also love any opportunity to travel world wide for any type of destination wedding or event. Travel expenses may apply.

I also would like to share what I love most about working with Life Design Event Planning. When I started this company I thought and thought about what to name it. What was the venture to be called and how could I express my excitement for designing moments in people’s lives? That was it. I was designing, Life Designing. Life is truly defined by all our wonderful and amazing experiences and I want to be a part of those celebrations. I stay connected for life with all of my clients and we undoubtedly become life long friends. I feel a connection and bond with them and love the fact that I am involved with a momentous memory in their life. So, what do I love most about working with Life Design Event Planning? The amazing people I get to meet, to know and to connect with. That’s what I love.
